Truncated octahedron
The truncated octahedron is one of the thirteen Archimedean polyhedra, obtained by truncating the cusps of the regular octahedron. It has 14 regular faces, of which 8 are hexagonal and 6 are square. According to the “Kelvin conjecture” the truncated octahedron is the ideal geometric figure to fill a three-dimensional space. Ganimede is the lamp that gave birth to Fulcro, the first realization. The inspiration comes from a geometric lamp seen in Los Angeles. After trying to replicate it, unfortunately without remembering its shape, the desire for a beautiful and elegant object remained.
